Black & White Gallery
Sometimes black and white can allow me to see some photos in a different way. It may be the subject matter or the shapes in the photo; who knows. Perhaps I am just channeling some inner Ansel Adams. Whatever the reason, this is a little project that has been rolling around in my brain for a while.
A couple of comments about some of the pictures. The Trailer Park and the Wigwam Motel are evocative of a bygone era and virtually cry out to be in black and white - perhaps taken by an old Brownie Hawkeye. And to me, color just detracts from Untold Story and the poignancy of the grave of a toddler, not with a headstone but a throw-away tin marker.
