Who knows what was the straw that broke Bam-Bam's back - the Wasatch Plateau or the San Rafael Swell or maybe just a cumulation of long, steep climbs throughout the Rockies. I do know that the engine was completely cooked and required not a repair but a replacement - a new engine.
We had to leave our pride and joy in a small town 1500 miles from home and trust folks we didn't know to do an expensive and complex repair for us. Yeah. It whas been as a long month.
Well, it all worked out. The folks at Tony Basso GM in Price, UT were great, and the RV runs like a top, as smooth as could be expected.
