Here we are with the day of spooks and goblins nigh, and we are enjoying the lake both in the boat and in the water.
What could be more weird than to have dip in the lake the day before Halloween? That's spooky!
But this is probably our last swim for a while as rain is predicted this week and that will mean cooler temps for both the air and the water.
But even though the sun is out and the sky is clear, there is still some Halloween spookiness in the air. While cruising along the shoreline, we passed an old, abandoned boat ramp where the vultures were having their Halloween party.
I have never seen this many vultures in spot at one time, so I figured it must be in celebration of All Hallows Eve. I hope that guy in the air wasn't too late for all the fun. By the way, this is called a venue of vultures. Had they been in the air and circling, they would have been a kettle.
