Things sure have changed. The babies have turned into action guys, running this way and that, climbing stairs, and showing unbridled curiosity.
The picture shows the boys at a fall festival at the Missouri Botannical Garden. At the pumpkin patch, Jack picked up one pumpkin after another until he finally tried one that was almost his weight that pulled him to the ground. Tom enjoyed the display of alpacas and llama, watching them with delight for several minutes (a very long time for a 17 month old).
We had a fine trip up and back. We stopped at several state parks and yet another Route 66 museum along the way and thoroughly enjoyed the journey, generally traveling no more than 200 miles on any given day. Outside of a quick trip to our local state park for a checkout - this trip was cut short by Hurricane Harvey - we haven't used our RV since last Thanksgiving. 2017 has not been a great year for us. We treated Bam-Bam to six new tires and three new batteries and asked it take us on our way. And it did so with no problems.
