This past Saturday was a beautiful day and one of the few dry days we have had recently. Linda was on an airplane coming home from Missouri, so I decided to take the Quail Valley Garden Club's spring garden tour. I grabbed my camera, and off I went. Gardening with a camera is great - there is no planting, fertilizing, or weeding required. You let others do that, then you just go house-to-house and take photos. No fuss, no muss. The gardens I visited and the flowers I saw were magnificent; just incredible labors of love. Along with their own gardens, the good folks of the QVGC take care of all the sub-division entrances and esplanades. Here are few of the more interesting flowers I saw. Click any photo to begin the slideshow. Enjoy. |
